Kyrgyz Foreign Minister: No Stability In Sight Unless The Afghan Issue Is Solved

The situation in Central Asia will remain unstable unless the Afghan issue is urgently settled, said Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Muratbek Imanaliyev. The minister is participating in the conference of member countries of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation in Dushambe. Imanaliyev stressed that Afghanistan had become a source of terror, ideological diversions, and arms trafficking in Central Asia. The minister indicated that Kyrgyzia tried to support any Afghanistan-related initiatives.
