Easter Feast For Children Held In Christ The Savior Cathedral

The Patriarch's First Easter Feast for Children was held Sunday in the Ecclesiastical Assembly Hall of the Christ the Savior Cathedral. Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexis II, attended the feast to congratulate the audience of Sunday school - children, orphans, lone parents' kids, and church lycee students. While greeting the children, he urged that "the fundamentals of the faith of Christ be carried through the whole life." A total of 1,500 children attended the feast. After a performance, the young spectators were invited for a cup of tea to the refectory, with gifts handed out afterward.
