Latvia Ready For Dialogue With Russia On Russian Speakers' Rights In Republic

Latvia is ready for constructive dialogue with Russia on all matters, including the rights of the republic's Russian-speaking population both at bilateral negotiations and in international organisations, said Latvia's Foreign Minister Indulis Berzins on Tuesday in an interview with the Latvian radio. Berzins noted that the republic is no longer monitored for human rights. According to him, "Latvia's record in this sphere is seen as generally positive".
