Security council to discuss creation of single legal space in Russia

Justice Minister Yury Chaika has announced that issues related to the introduction of a single legal space in the Russian Federation will be discussed at a Security Council session to be held late in May or early in June. Chaika stressed that the creation of a single legal space in Russia is a vital problem of the day. Not accidentally the necessity to bring regional legislation in conformity with the federal law was in the limelight of the RF presidential address to the Federal Assembly (parliament of the Russian Federation). According to the minister, so far 80 per cent of all regional legislative acts have been brought in conformity with the RF federal legislation.
