The national association of TV and radio broadcasters (NAT) is going to work out recommendations for solving the conflict around the NTV. A resolution was approved at the NAT board session on Tuesday which stipulates the creation of an expert group and making a thorough analysis of the situation around the NTV so as to give recommendations on solving the conflict between the owners and the NTV journalists. The NAT board calls on "to continue making efforts for settling the conflict, and preserve and protect the creative collective of the company." The NAT board also announces that the situation around the NTV should not influence the policy of regional authorities with respect to local media. The commentaries to the resolution point out that the NAT board intends to address the conflicting sides so as to give specific proposals for settling the conflict and at the same time not playing the part of an arbiter.
