A chewed gum can cost ten thousand dollars

A citizens of Wisconsin paid ten thousand dollars for the gum, which was chewed by baseball player Luis Gonzalez, although the starting price was only $20.

Luis Gonzalez spit his gum out on March 7 after the training game in Tucson, where Arizona club prepared for Major League Baseball games. Jason Gabbert got the treasure, but then he decided to sell it on the net and spend the money on charity.

At first, nobody wanted to pay more than 20 bucks for the chewed gum, since there were doubts that it was Luis Gonzalez, who chewed it. Gonzalez dissipated the doubts after he chewed another piece at witnesses’ presence, spit it out in a bottle, which was then sealed. The price jumped very high after that and the gum went for ten thousand dollars.
