Mougli from Nigeria

A “Mougli” has been found in Nigeria. The child was left by its parents to the mercy of fate, though chimpanzees gave refuge to him and brought it up. The boy found by hunters was called Bello. He had been living in monkey pack, in a forest in the north of Nigeria. According to ITAR-TASS, the child’s parents are supposed to belong to nomadic Fula nationality. They left the boy with serious physical and mind defects. Cases like that are not seldom among Fula: parents prefer to get rid of disabled children. As a rule, such children are doomed to death, being too small to care for themselves. Though, Bello was lucky to find such careful step-parents.
