Can you conceive at the Olympics?

The first Reproductive Olympics was held in Stockholm. A couple, who managed to conceive quicker than other participants, was declared the winner of the Olympics. The idea to organize such a contest belongs to a local broadcasting station.

Fifteen couples were granted a romantic weekend in a luxurious hotel with all necessary romantic conveniences. Free massages and champagne made for better relaxation of the participants. The Olympic's main objective was to conceive as quicker as possible after making throughout the period spent at the hotel.

Patricia Carlsson and Michael Hansson became the winning couple, as they managed to conceive on the very first day of the weekend. They have been trying to conceive since the summer of 2001, but unsuccessfully.

The couple won the first prize of $5,000. The winners say that the romantic atmosphere created by the Olympiad’s organizers made for such a success. The massage with aroma oils relieved stress, and the young people could enjoy making love as long as they liked. Those were the factors that produced a positive result. When tests were taken, it became clear that Patricia had been “the quickest” among the other women who also wanted to become pregnant at the Olympiad.
