March 8th kisses

In honorr of International Day of the Woman, a record has been set in the town Puskin.

Organizers of the action are the Russian Guiness Book of World Records and Russian Hero Club. They planned to carry out the largest mass action of kissing by one man with several hundreds of women. To find so many women at once, the organizers addressed the women workers of a factory. A surprise was promised to them. The surprise was Russian cinema actor Alexandr Pankratov-Cherny. However, just before the action, he refused to work with his lips. He probably had his own reasons. Though a substitute was found in time: actor Boris Nevzorov, who mainly acts in family shows, and athlete Vladimir Turchinsky, nicknamed "Dynamite."

Thanks to the action, ex-playboy Boris Nevzorov seems to have remembered his stormy youth, while Turchinsky, after having kissed 183 ladies, remembered about his coming wedding and, at once, stopped participating in the action. In addition to the kiss, every woman got a red carnation and a book about anti-venereal prophylaxis.

According the officials from the Guiness Book of World Records, during the action in Pushkin, 203 women were kissed and 371 “joint” kisses were given.
