Magnetic belt soon to be in Siberia

For unknown reasons, the Earth’s magnetic zone has seriously accelerated its dislocation, and, in some time, it will be in Siberia. This conclusion was made by participants of an international scientific expedition that recently returned from its excursion to Kanda.

In 1831, it was discovered that the Earth’s magnetic zone is located in the Arctic. However, several years later, scientists discovered that the magnetic zone was drifting.

Now, its move to Russia has increased. For example, in 1970, the zone was shifting at a speed of 10 km a year; now, it moves at 40 km a year. For the time being, scientists cannot explain this phenomenon.
