Lordly hunt of Russian film star

Famous Russian actor and film producer Nikita Mikhalkov regularly travels to the Vogograd region to hunt. The film star not only reduces the number of animals in the Volgograd region, he also hunts together with the region’s governor, Vyacheslav Pozgalev. Last time, Nikita came to the Babaev district of the region together with his friend.

The couple got out from their Jeeps and saddled snowmobiles. They traveled to a lake, near which there was a bear’s lair. The hunters turned out the mother-bear and her bear-cubs, and Nikita shot in cold blood the target.

The hunters shared the skins. The governor intends to hand over the skin to a local museum, while Mikhalkov will present it to one of his friends.

According to some information, Mikhalkov’s wild pleasure from the animals’ murder transformed into the wish to shoot a film about Russian hunt. He is said to have travelled over almost the whole Volga region together with his cameraman searching for his victim. However, at the moment, he has stopped his hunts, because he has to support Russian sportsmen in Salt Lake City.
