Docking Of Kursk Postponed In Roslyakovo

The operation on installation of the Kursk nuclear submarine into the dock of the Roslyakovo shipyards has been postponed for October 21, the press service at the Russian Northern Fleet reported. The decision to reduce the draft of the two-vessel system by another 40-50 cm in order to ensure a safe installation, was made on Saturday morning after taking control readings of the draft. At present, three floating cranes of the Northern Fleet are unloading 500 kg of freight from the Giant-4 pontoon.
