Putin Meets Chairman Of Union Of Russia's Theater Figures

Russian president Vladimir Putin speaks for an early adoption of laws on the theater and artistic leagues. Chairman Alexander Kalyagin of Russia's Theater Figures Union told journalists about this following his Kremlin meeting with the Russian leader in the Kremlin. According to Kalyagin, the meeting focused on the creative and social problems of the Russian theater. To quote Alexander Kalyagin, he came to the president with "requests, proposals and information". On the eve of the forthcoming congress of theater figures, many unsolved problems have accumulated, and I am very happy that some of them were settled right during the meeting, said Alexander Kalyagin. In his words, the president immediately gave orders and instructions. Kalyagin described the situation in the theater as rather complicated. A talented person can be hungry but not to such an extent as to be unable to create, said Kalyagin. I was glad to find understanding of the president. The theater community can be sure that the authorities know and understand all our problems and are sparing no effort to solve them, said the chairman of the Theater Figures Union. According to Kalyagin, the president is in the course of the theater affairs and is interested in many theaters.
