Mammoet Spokesman Does Not Rule Out Shift In Schedule Of Kursk Lifting

Schedule of the Kursk's lifting may be changed owing to unfavorable weather conditions, said Tuesday spokesman for the Mammoet company Larissa van Seumeren. Currently the sea swell on the operation site is 4-5 points, wind speed - 7-10 m/sec, wave height - 2 meters. The company spokesman mentioned that the Kursk lifting had been scheduled for Wednesday night. She noted that the plugs are being fastened to the gripper guides at a slower rate. Currently only 2 out of 26 plugs have been fastened.
