Deputy Prefect Of Western Administrative District Of Moscow Murdered

Sergei Balashov, Deputy Prefect of Moscow's western administrative district, was killed Friday morning in the capital of Russia, the main interior department of Moscow has reported. According to the department's information, Sergei Balashov was fired at at around 8.45 a.m. in Ivan Franko street in Kuntsevo district and died of a gunshot wound. So far, the law enforcement bodies have declined to comment on the incident but they do not rule out the possibility of a contract murder.
