Moscow Hosts International Dog Show

On November 18 Moscow will host the traditional major fall International Dog Show "Moscow Mayor's Cup - 2001". More than 2,000 participants from Russia, the CIS, Germany, Sweden, Poland, China and Korea will represent dogs of about 120 breeds including rare ones. Leading dog experts from Russia, Great Britain and Sweden were invited to be the judges at the show. The programme of the show includes sport competitions with dogs, demonstrations of the best Russian training schools and specialized contests of young dog-breeders. The spectators will visit the Theatre of the dog fashion and see fancy-dress performances. Famous politicians and popular singers are expected to participate in the rewarding ceremony.
