Russian President Speaks For Development Of Dialogue Between Government And Civil Society

Russian President Vladimir Putin has pronounced for the development of partnership and dialogue between government and civil society. Speaking at the ceremony of opening the Civil Forum, the Russian President noted that "assistance government rendered to organisers of this event was prompted by a purposeful need for dialogue and partnership between government and civil society." Vladimir Putin has categorically refuted dangers alleging that "government may try to subordinate" civil society. "Civil society cannot be formed by order from government officials," the head of state stressed. Moreover, "it can never be formed by any order for it forms by itself and supported by the spirit of freedom," the President added.
