Playboy.Com has been hacked

Last weekend the police found out about a hacker, who broke Playboy.com site, which was a part of Playboy Enterprises corporation. As a spokesman for Playboy.com said, a hacker managed to steal the information about visitors’ credit cards numbers. The company got to know about the incident this weekend, when the webmasters finally noticed there was something wrong on their serves. For the time being, Playboy is trying to find out, what other information could become at hacker’s disposal. The company even hired a computer security specialists for that. The head of Playboy.com wrote a letter to the visitors of the site and urged them all to contact the companies, which issued their credit cards and see, if their money was ok or not. A well-known hacker with the nick Martyn Luther Ping from “Ingreslock 1524” hacking group took on the responsibility for that, having sent e-mails to those, who suffered, and gave a credit card number as a proof. It was also said in that e-mail message that the mentioned hacking group had had access to the information of Playboy.com since 1989. “We have great plans, how to use this information. How many things we will be able to buy in online stores – this is more than ten million dollars.”
