Russian Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov: There Is No "voloshin Case"

Prosecutor General Vladimir Voloshin says that "there is no Voloshin case at all." Talking with reporters on Friday, Ustinov confirmed that in accordance with the State Duma deputies' inquiry, the Prosecutor General' Office was checking the activity of the head of the Kremlin administration, Alexander Voloshin, in the period of his work in commercial structures. However, he underscored that the checking of deputies' inquiries was "a routine everyday work of the Prosecutor's Office." The Prosecutor General expressed bewilderment that the journalists of some mass media, who attended the meeting with him on Thursday at which the results of the activity of the Prosecutor General's Office last year were summed up, "had swelled this ordinary checking to such an extent." The prosecutor general also pointed out that his office regularly received deputies' inquiries. "There are many of them, and each one is being che! ! cked," said Vladimir Ustinov.
