Three-year-old boy shot his mother while playing policeman

The tragedy has taken place in eastern Croatia. Not long before this event, the child’s father, policeman Yugoslav Seperovic, returned home after his service. The man left the drawing-room to change his uniform to dressing gown, while his holster with pistol was left in an armchair. While the father was absent, the child decided to amuse himself. The boy took the pistol and started to run back and forth, brandishing with the gun and crying he is a policeman like his father and he will now detain a criminal. While running by his mother, who was watching TV, the boy accidentally pressed the cock. The bullet hit on the woman’s head, as a result, the 36-year-old Angelica Seperovic instantly died. The child’s father heard the shot and ran into the room. He saw his son with pistol in his arm and his wife’s lifeless body. Now, the 38-year-old policeman is threatened with accusation of negligent keeping of weapon. Moreover, the police office where Yogoslav Seperovic works is carrying out an internal investigation of the incident.
