Putin Congratulates Prosecutor Offices On Their Holiday

President Vladimir Putin has congratulated associates of the prosecuting institutions on the 280th anniversary of their formation and Prosecutor Day holiday, reports the Kremlin's press-service. A telegram sent to Russian Prosecutor-General Vladimir Ustinov by the president says, in part: "It is three centuries already that prosecutor offices have served as a key element of Russian law enforcement. The most important avenues of your activity today is defence of citizens' rights and freedoms, consolidation of the single legal environment, the battle against crime and assistance to the creation of a favourable business climate in the country. Our prosecutors are guided by the principles of impartiality and objective approach. I am sure that your supreme priorities will inevitably be Law, Duty and Honour."
