Russian and American crewmen end EVA work

In the early hours of Saturday, commander of the fourth expedition aboard the International Space Station Yuri Onufriyenko of Russia and American astronaut Daniel Bursch ended their extravehicular activities.

The crewmen remained outside the ISS for approximately six hours. They have completed outfitting the ISS with additional radio antennas and done assembly work on its surface.

They have removed from the ISS surface specimen of various structural materials, put there over two months ago by a previous live-in expedition for studying the impact of outer space on their properties.

It was the first space walk for American astronaut Daniel Bursch. For his Russian colleague it was the seventh one.
