Man accused of having relations with pig

Found standing beside the animal as it was giving birth, with a large hoe in his hand, the man explained. He said that since he had been having relations with the animal, he was waiting to see if any of the piglets bore his features. If so, he continued, he would kill them for nobody to know what he had been doing with the mother.

The incident took place in a village in central Portugal. It would appear that professional help would be more befitting than a prison sentence in this case.
