Men and women to use public transport separately in Malaysia

Malaysian men and women will not have to share the same line to get into a bus. And, to be more safe, they will sit separately in the buses. The government of Malaysia aims not only at the achievement of a high standard of living in the country, but also high morals. The authorities of Malaysia are convinced that lines at bus stops completely go against morals, because men and women may touch each other while getting into the bus, not to mention the crowds in the buses during rush hours! The government of Malaysia decided to nip the situation in the bud, as it is considered to be immoral.

Now, men and women will stand in different lines and get into buses in a special order: first goes a woman, then a man, then a woman again, and so on. The buses will be changed as well. Instead of the signs “Seats for invalids and passengers with kids” the signs “Seats for men” and “Seats for women” will be posted. This is to make any contact between women and men impossible on the bus.
