Hamster engine in Japanese motor car

Among new auto projects, a car that uses hamster energy has been presented at technical competition in Tokio.

This competition was held on the 26th, while its main aim was to promote new, funny, and interesting technological discoveries. The Toyota company sponsores this competition to encourage ideas from scientists and of all comers. However, not every project goes into production.

One of the inventions that could be useful was a wheelchair that can travel upstairs. It won one of the jury’s prizes.

However, the jury’s members were also surprised to see a car very similar to ladybird. The engine of the car works from electrical impulses produced by hamsters running in a special wheel. This creation received the prize “Dream Car,” which is usually given to schoolchildren and university students.
