Hilton Hotel To Be Constructed In Center Of Moscow By 2004
The Inturist hotel located in the center of Moscow will be closed today according to a decree signed by Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov in November 2001. According to this decree, Inturist will be demolished and a five-start Hilton hotel will be constructed at this site by the end of 2004. The total cost of the project including the cost of the Inturist demolition was estimated at no less than $130 million.
