Russian Women Win Gold and Silver in World Cup Biathlon Race in Lahti

Russia's Olga Pyleva and Albina Akatova finished first and second respectively in a sprint 7.5 km biathlon race with two stops at a shooting range in a World Cup competition in Lahti, Finland.

None of them missed a shot at the range but Olga ran faster and led Albina by 3 seconds at the finish. The race's top 10 includes two other Russian women - Natalya Bogali and Svetlana Ishmuratova who finished 6th and 10th respectively.

Olga Pyleva's victory in Lahti has let her take the overall leadership in the World Cup biathlon championship.
