Swedish Sports Commentators Call Russians Hockey Game in Stockholm Impressive

Swedish sports commentators described the game of Russian hockey players, who defeated the Canadian team 4:1 at the Sweden Hockey Games in Stockholm, as impressive. In the opinion of the Swedish anchormen, the young Russian players outstripped the Canadian players in their physical form and speed.

Vasily Turkovsky was named as the best player of the game. Dmitry Yerofeev, Ruslan Bernikov and Aleksander Suglobov also showed their excellent skills.

The Russian Team's chief coach Vladimir Plyuschev gave critical remarks to the game of the Canadian players, who had played as if they were "hewing down trees" instead of playing hockey, and, in his opinion, deserved more expulsions.

On Thursday the Russian team will meet with the Finnish team. The Sweden Hockey Games started on February 4th at the Stockholm Globe Arena (Globen), and it is the last tournament within the Euro Hockey Challenge tournaments. The games of this year started on February 4th with the game Canada vs. Sweden. The Swedish team defeated the Canadian team 4:3. The Canadian team plays beyond the net of the Euro Hockey Challenge tournaments.
