Three Russia's Women Tennis Players Qualify for the World's Best 20 Players Rating

For the first time in several years three Russian female tennis players qualified for the world's 20 best tennis players rating. According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, the information was confirmed after the Women Tennis Association /WTA/ released on Monday its new rating of female tennis players.

Russia's first racket Anastasia Myskina occupies the 11th line of the rating list with 2150.00 points. By having improved one position, Russia's promising Yelena Bovina occupies now the 16th line with 1495.50 points and the other Russian player Yelena Dementyeva is last on the list of the world's best 20 players with 1360.00 points.

The first two positions of the WTA rating list are still occupied by the Williams sisters from the USA - Serena and Venus. The younger of the sisters is ahead of Venus, who ranks second /Serena has 6989.00 points and Venus - 5370.00/.

The third and the fourth places of the rating list belong to the two Belgian players - Kim Clijsters with 3763.00 points and Justine Henin-Hardenne with 3407 points/. The fifth place is occupies by young athlete Daniela Hantuchova from Slovakia with 2838.00 points.

The other top ten tennis players are as follows: 6. Jennifer Capriati /USA, 2790.00 points/, 7. Amelie Mauresmo /France, 2729.00 points/, 8. Lindsay Davenport /USA, 2534.00 points/, 9. Monica Seles /USA, 2528.00 points/, 10. Jelena Dokic /Yugoslavia, 2526.00 points/.
