Marat Safin and Mikhail Yuzhny to Play Against Opponents Unfamiliar to Them

At the second day of Australian Open Tennis Championship Marat Safin and Mikhail Yuzhny will play against opponents unfamiliar to them. The Russian players have never met their opponents of the Australian Open's first round.

Marat Safin will play against Dutch Raemon Sluiter, who occupies 47th position in the list of ATP /Association of Tennis Professionals/. In the course of his sports career, which started in 1996, Sluiter has won $566,000.

The hero of the Davis Cup finals - Mikhail Yuzhny, will play against French Richard Gasquet, who is only 16 years old and started his sports career last year. In the course of his sports career he has earned $68,000 and occupies 47th position in the ATP list.
