The Marseilles soccer club describes young Russian soccer player Dmitry Sychev as "a player with bright future". The 18th year old striker from Spartak (Moscow) team recently joined this French club.

Olympique's chief coach Alain Perrane stated to RIA Novosti that "Sychev as a player is polyvalent: he possesses good kick, he is swift in attack, and he perfectly sees the field and his partners during the final goal situation".

This year Olympique from Marseilles is leading the French Premiere League.

According to the coach of the Marseilles team, the rising Russian soccer star attracted his attention during the last World Cup and when concluding a contract with Spartak the coach "had no doubts at all." The French coach stated that soon Dmitry Sychev would arrive in Marseilles and during the next 6 months "would acclimatize himself" to the local team and then would start taking part in the French championship and in Olympique's international matches."
