Moscow City Court forbade to hold All-Russia strike of air traffic controllers on December 30

The Moscow City Court has forbidden to hold an All-Russia strike of air traffic controllers on December 30. The court recognized this action planned by the Federation of Trade Unions of Air Traffic Controllers and by the All-Russia Association of Trade Unions Aeronavigatsia to be unlawful.

The court thereby satisfied the lawsuit filed by sixteen enterprises engaged in organising air traffic of the Far East, the Ural area, Western and Eastern Siberia, the Maritime Territory and other regions of Russia.

At first a 24-hour All-Russia strike of air traffic controllers was scheduled for November 30.

But the Moscow City Court, having accepted the lawsuit on recognizing the action to be invalid, put off the date of the supposed strike to December 30.
