Davis Cup will visit Russian towns

Davis Cup won by Russian tennis-players will visit seven Russian towns, said Shamil Tarpischev, president of the All-Russian Tennis Association. The trophy will be brought to the towns where the Association's branches are based - Gladyshev in the Moscow Region, Saransk, Omsk, Tyumen, and several other towns yet to be chosen.

Tarpischev said that the cup would come to Moscow on at 9.30 PM on Thursday and that from the airport it would be taken to the Bank of Moscow.

Last week-end, the Russian team won the French, gaining for the first time the most prestigious tennis award.
