Yeltsin to fly into France to support Russian Davis Cup team

Boris Yeltsin and his wife are expected to fly into Paris on Thursday evening.

Vladimir Shevchenko, head of the first Russian president's protocol department, has told RIA Novosti that Yeltsin will fly to Paris "to support the Russian sportsmen who are competing in the final of the Davis Cup." Shevchenko said that the former Russian leader was hoping for a Russian victory.

The Yeltsins will fly back to Russia after the conclusion of the November 29th - December 1st tournament.
