Russian President's spouse addresses Kaliningrad citizens

On Friday Russian President's spouse Lyudmila Putin addressed the audience and participants in the Russian and foreign stars gala concert, which was the final chord of an action aimed at promoting the struggle against drug addiction and AIDS "Don't Even Try!" "My dear Kaliningrad citizens! My fellow-countrymen! Today is my happy day. Once again I'm here with you in my hometown," Lyudmila Putin said. According to her, "it was not by accident, but symbolic," that the first narcomania and AIDS prevention action, which will be held all over Russia in the near future, started in Kaliningrad (Russian enclave in the West).

Lyudmila Putin recalled, that the first AIDS case in Russia was registered in Kaliningrad. Therefore, in this city "we start our battle against this evil," the President's spouse said.

She wished to Kaliningrad citizens "revitalization and prosperity" and "happy life in their city and our country." The action to combat drug addiction and AIDS "Don't even try!" started in Kaliningrad on September 2nd.
