Russia-Ireland match: lack of room for journalists

At the Russia-Ireland match there will not be enough room in the press gallery. Andrei Tarabrin, the press-attache of the Russian football union, told a RIA Novosti correspondent on Thursday that the Irish media have requested 80 seats alone by now.

In all, the press gallery of the Lokomotiv stadium has only 156 seats. On Saturday, September 7th, the stadium will host a match between Russian national team and the Irish team.

According to Tarabrin, 49 journalists, 10 photo correspondents and 16 TV men will come from Ireland to cover the match.

As for the Russian media, the "press zone" of the Lokomotiv stadium can't admit all those applied for accreditation, said the Russian Football Union press-attache.
