Russians not satisfied with results of investigation in Kursk sub tragedy

Two thirds of Russians (66 percent) believe that authorities have blanketedthe case of the Kursk sub crash to withdraw charges from major originatorsof the tragedy. These are the results of an opinion poll of 1,600 Russiansconducted by the VCIOM opinion center in 83 inhabited locations in 33regions and republics of the Russian Federation on August 21-27, 2002 (withan error of no more than 3.8 per cent). Only 24 percent of Russians aresatisfied with the official explanation of the cause for the subcatastrophe; 10 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer thequestion..
