International Parachuting Competitions to end on Saturday in Moscow region airport Stupino

On Saturday at the Valery Chkalov central air-club of the Moscow region's airport Stupino will be held the finals and solemn closing procedure of the International Parachuting Competitions in remembrance of Anton Malevsky.

The World Air Sports Federation classified the competitions as first category ones, which meant the recognition of Russia as a country where parachuting competitions at a level of championships and World Cups could be held. It is for the first time when parachuting competitions of such high level are held in Russia.

13 teams from seven countries of the world participated in the competitions.

Four teams will compete in the finals - two US teams and two Russian teams. The winner will be determined on Saturday.

Celebrating events and a gala-concert, dedicated to the closing of the competitions, will be held at the airport after the awarding ceremony.
