Omsk resident becomes world boxing champion among servicemen

The top title in world boxing among servicemen in the weight category below 54 kilogrammes has gone to Zinat Zhandybayev from Omsk in Siberia. The competitions are being held in Ireland.

The sports committee of the administration of the Omsk region reports that the 19-year-old bantamweight from the Omsk boxing school is on the active list at a railway troops unit also in Omsk.
