Book fair in Hanoi presents books about Vladimir Putin and Boris Yeltsin's memoirs

The stand of the state political literature publishing house at the book fair in Vietnam presents a book "In the First Person: Conversations with Vladimir Putin", memoirs by Russian ex-president Boris Yeltsin "Presidential Marathon" and by former Soviet ambassador to the United States Anatoly Dobrynin.

The Book Fair-2002 in the Vietnamese capital is timed to the 50th anniversary of publishing in the republic. All in all, 132 publishing houses, printing houses and distributors of printed matters, including 23 foreign firms, participate in the fair.

The fair gives the best opportunities to expand cooperation between Vietnamese and foreign publishers, distributors, libraries, bookshops, says the salutary address of the Chairman of the Organising Committee. The books, mainly in the Vietnamese language, acquaint with history, policy, economy and culture of Vietnam and other countries.

FABACO Vietnamese distributor firm presented a collection of articles by Russian authors on the submarine Kursk tragedy, published by a Vietnamese information agency. The Literature and Art publishing house (Ho Chi Minh) presents novels "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoi and "Peter I" by Aleksei Tolstoi. The National Army publishing house presents memoirs by famous Soviet commander, Marshal Georgy Zhukov "Reminiscences and Reflections".
