More than 2000 Policemen to Keep Order at Spartak - Liverpool Match in Moscow

More than 2000 policemen will be keeping order at the football match between Spartak (Moscow) and Liverpool (England). The UEFA Champions League group match will take place today at 20.00 local time at the Dinamo stadium, Moscow.

As the Moscow police department informed a Rosbalt correspondent, more than 15000 supporters will be coming to the match, approximately 500 of which will be British supporters. The interior troops of the Russian Interior Ministry will be helping police to ensure the safety of spectators during the match. Police reserves will also be ready in various branches of the Moscow police in case the situation gets out of hand. English supporters, renowned for their aggression, will be accompanied by police to their hotels after the match.
