Moscow Hostages Denied Food and Medicine by Terrorists

The terrorists occupying the concert hall of the Moscow Ball-bearing Factory are refusing to give their hostages anything to eat or drink other than chocolate and water, despite the fact that the building contains large supplies of food. 'We are starving and the hostages should also starve,' the terrorists declared.

A Jordanian doctor who spent four hours treating people in the building revealed that the terrorists are forcing hostages to lie on the floor. He said that there were around 800 people in the building, including many children. The doctor added that many hostages are in urgent need of medical and psychological help.

The terrorists have been refusing to allow medicines to be passed to the hostages. However, this morning they agreed to let two NTV cameramen and the director of the Centre for Medical Catastrophes to enter the building. The party took with it a selection of medical supplies. There are already several Red Cross employees in the building.
