Beauty contest for pregnant women held in Nizhny Novgorod

Nizhny Novgorod is to host the final of the beauty contest among expectant mothers called "Beauty In a Delicate Position 2013." The contest, which is held on the eve of Mother's Day, was organized by magazine "The Joy of Motherhood" with the support of the Ministry of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The jury was chaired by the minister of social policy of the region Olga Noskova.

As many as 20 most beautiful and creative expecting mothers of Nizhny Novgorod are going to take part in the final. The contestants will take part in a photo shoot, runway event, creative homework and other contests.

"I think this is a very positive event, actor Pierre Narcisse said. - Many women think they are not beautiful in this position. But pregnant women can be very beautiful. A beauty contest in Nizhny Novgorod for pregnant women - this is a very good and healthy idea. Women should take part in such things."

The actor's comments coincide with the opinion of the organizers of the contest. One of its goals is to create a new image of a pregnant woman - a healthy, active, beautiful, and intellectually active person, tuned to a happy family life and career success, who is fully aware of responsibility for bearing and raising a healthy child.

For the first time, "Beauty In a Delicate Position 2013" was held in Nizhny Novgorod in 2012.
