Drunken British women cause emergency landing

A passenger jetliner flying from to London to Tunisia, had to make an emergency landing at Lyon because of  two drunken British women. The women in a state of extreme intoxication were placed in a detoxification center, reports Spiegel.de.

The Boeing 737 belonged to British Airways. Two British women aged 43 and 50 were drinking rum from a bottle. The women were swearing, not paying attention to children. They were insulting the crew and, according to the Daily Mail, threatened one of the flight attendants to kill her family. To crown it all, the women tried to get into the cockpit to talk to the captain of the aircraft.

The incident took place on December 31, but the news has just been revealed. The two women spent New Year's Eve at the detoxification center, and were then sent back to the UK. The plane took off from Lyon without them. Both women have been barred from flying on British Arways airplanes for life.
