Prosecutors of Russia's Chelyabinsk region filed an administrative case against the administration of a grocery store, in which a woman purchased a loaf of bread with a dead mouse inside.
A female resident of the town of Yuruzan bought the bread at Smak Store. When at home, the wound found the unusual filling - a dead mouse - inside the bread.
The shocked customer decided to file a complaint against the store, Amitel news agency said.
"It was revealed as a result of investigation that the store was violating a number of rules of commercial activities, particularly about the circulation of bakery products. There was no name, production date or location provided on the packaging of products," officials said.
The owner of Smak Store may have to pay the fine of nearly 30,000 rubles ($1,000).
Meanwhile, a resident of Chelyabinsk bought a can of pickled cucumbers in a local grocery store. The man could not enjoy the snack at home, though. When we opened the can, he found a frog among the cucumbers. The 35-year-old man took the can back to the store, but employees refused to communicate with the customer. The man is currently seeking a compensation of 100,000 rubles ($3,400) for his ruined dinner.
