Little girl freezes to death while her parents enjoy skating

In the Russian city of Surgut, a four-month-old girl froze to death in the car when the temperature was 10 degrees below zero Centigrade. He girl was left dying in the car while her parents were skating.

There were too many people enjoying themselves at the building of the local Palace of Sports that day.  The young couple decided to leave their daughter in the car because the babygirl had fallen asleep on the way to the skating rink.

The baby's father said that he was going out of the rink every 20 minutes to check the baby and warm up the car. During one of such visits, the man noticed that the baby was neither moving nor breathing. The man called his wife to go out for help. The weeping woman was trying to bring her little daughter back to life, although to no avail.

The man called the ambulance. However, paramedics could only pronounce the child dead and call the police, Life News reports. The parents say they did not want their daughter to die. The babygirl was their third child. They could not explain how they could forget about their child.

The girl most likely died of hypothermia. "But it is possible that the child had a serious illness," a doctor said.

A murder case has been filed in connection with the death of the baby. It still remains unknown, though, whether someone can be held accountable under such circumstances. The police could not interrogate the child's mother - the woman is staying in a state of shock.
