Man brings 340 lbs of debt to court officers. 45928.jpegCourt officers of the city of Kirov had to count the money received from a debtor for hours. The man owed 100,000 rubles ($3,000). He paid his debt entirely, but he brought it in coins only. The man's debt thus weighed 154 kilograms.

Angered debtors would often pay their debts in small banknotes. It is the first time for Kirov court officers when they receive the debt of over 100,000 rubles in coins, the Rossiiskaya Gazeta wrote.

The young man said that he had brought the change to the person who did not want to change. It goes about his former boss, from whom he borrowed the above-mentioned amount.

The man's friends helped him take the sacks of money to the court office. The man said that he had been collecting 10, 5, 2 and 1 ruble coins by exchanging various banknotes.

It took court officers five hours to collect the money in debtor's presence. The plaintiff refused to take the cash and asked to wire the money to his bank account, 9Channel says.
