Days of Nizhny Novgorod's culture take place in Serbia

The days of culture of Nizhny Novgorod began in Serbia. Musicians, actors and artists will demonstrate their art in Novi Sad, Smederovo and capital Belgrade before Friday, November 18^th.

The festival started in Novi Sad. The events of the festival are timed to the fifth anniversary of twin-city relations between the two Russian and Serbian cities. Chamber orchestra "Lead Singers of Nizhny Novgorod" and "Preobrazhenie" ("Transformation") theater of music and plastic drama will participate in the project.

"Lead Singers of Nizhny Novgorod" will perform several works: "From Holberg's Time" by Edvard Grieg, "Serenade for Strings" by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No. 1" with singer Ruslan Razgulaev.

The art show of Nizhny Novgorod artists will start working in the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Serbia on November 17.

The cultural events are organized by the administration of Nizhny Novgorod in cooperation with the Russian Embassy in Serbia, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Serbia and the administration of Novi Sad sister city.
