Man rams into 17 vehicles as he drives on the wheels of love

A Moldavian driver, who rammed into 17 vehicles in Moscow, has been hospitalized into a mental institution. Specialists will now try to find out whether the man has mental disorders.

The expert report said that there was no alcohol or drugs found in the man's blood.

Vitaly Grodik, a resident of Moldavia, born in 1970, was driving a Renault Megane on Sunday, at about 10:00 a.m. He drove to the square of the Kievsky Railway Station despite the prohibitory sign. Police officers tried to stop the car, but the driver tried to escape. The police began to chase the perpetrator, but the man continued to ignore their requirements.

The man drove to Bryanskaya Street at the moment when a group of children were boarding an Ikarus bus, Mayak radio station said. The police decided to block the road for the man. However, the driver rammed into the police car at high speed. He backed off, and having rammed into the police car again, the man rammed into several other cars nearby to continue the movement, RBC reports.

The police continued to chase the Renault Megane and managed to finally stop the car near Podvoisky Street. As soon as the car was stopped, the Moldavian driver tried to get rid of his clothes and run away from the scene.

The man was arrested, and it is up for medical specialists to decided whether he has mental disorders. The man told medics that he was flying on the wings of love. He also said that he had to save Earth from the Devil and other dark forces.
