Chechnya and Kadyrov dream of World Cup 2018

Chechnya is getting ready for the unexampled event of the year. A new stadium is going to be opened in the capital of the Chechen Republic, Grozny, on May 11. Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov is looking forward to his triumph. It is not ruled out that with the new stadium Chechnya will be able to host several matches of the World Cup 2018.

Top officials representing Chechnya's national football team, Terek, earlier said that everyone attending the opening of the stadium would be amazed at the "grandiose ceremony." "Spectators will see a beautiful show that we are working on now. We have a Turkish company involved - the company was organizing the opening of stadiums in Turkey and several other countries. There will be Chechen, Russian and foreign artists performing at the show too," the official said.

The main intrigue of the landmark event - who is going to play against the team chaired by Ramzan Kadyrov. According to organizers of the event, it could be such monsters of world football as Manchester City, Juventus and even Barcelona.

World-famous football stars are going to attend the opening ceremony in Grozny as well. Figo, Vieri, Barthez, Zamorano, Costacurta, and, of course, the God's hand of world football - Diego Maradona.

It seems that it is becoming a tradition for the Chechen administration to organize football festivals in the country. Chechnya is simply trying to host several matches of the World Cup, which Russia will be hosting in 2018. The list of hosting cities has been set, and the Chechen capital is not among them. However, several candidates experience serious financial and organizational issues. These circumstances may play into Ramzan Kadyrov's hands. Russia's Hero wants to conquer the world and he is determined to succeed at all costs.
